Plot
Jong-sam takes the police exam but gets caught up in a mysterious incident and ends up in prison. He has to break out in order to protect his friend, Tdakji’s sister, Eun-bi, from a serial killer that he had shared cells with. In order to get to Eun-bi, he steals a car that NIS agents were hiding a body in. Inside the car, he finds the ID tag of “Oh Il-seung,” a detective, and uses it to impersonate a detective himself. He successfully rescues Eun-bi and in the process, runs into an old friend named Jin-yeong. But he also ends up getting chased by the NIS. That night, Jong-sam successfully gets away from the NIS agents and returns to his cell, but Jin-yeong and the agents search for Detective Oh Il-seung and Jong-sam. Jong-sam hides the body and tells Tdakji, who is getting out after serving 10 years, to inform the police. But a mysterious man enters the prison while Jong-sam is there and attacks him. When he awakes, he has already become Detective “Oh Il-seung.” Even his identification states that he is now Oh Il-seung. He has become the detective that he always dreamed of becoming and starts to solve cases one by one.
